Africell Ugandahas unveiled the biggest cash prize ever of one billion shillings. The 7 week nationwide campaign dubbed “One Billion Promo” will see one lucky subscriber win the mega prize of One Billion Shillings at the end of the promotion. This follows the success of the cheapest ever call rate of one shillings per second promotion which the giant telecommunications company launched at the start of October.
The Africell One billion campaign is the biggest ever cash prize ever given out by a company to an individual in Uganda. Over 100 other Africell subscribers will also have a chance to win millions of shillings in daily draws.
Over the years, Africell has introduced ground-breaking campaigns that have whipped up enthusiasm among its customers and reinforced its position as Uganda’s telecommunications company of choice.

Under the mechanics of the promotion, the customer is simply required to recharge their line with 500 shillings or more to enter the draw. Daily draws from Monday to Thursday will be carried out on leading television and radio stations countrywide where 3 lucky winners will win 500,000 shillings each. The grand draw is slated for December 17th at Nakivubo stadium where Africell will also be throwing a mega concert for their customers with huge wins, performances from top artists and day long celebrations.
Daily/weekly prize winners, will have their prize monies delivered to their location through the Africell Billionaire Promotion team that will be traversing the country to publicise the promotion.
Additionally, customers will making their entry into the promotion whenever they recharge airtime to make calls, use the internet, or purchase their preferred bundles.
