Doh-U-G ltd. proudly presents Jam Session Defined, a different way of listening to the music by some of the greatest musicians around. Different musicians creates different music every time. This Wednesday 16th of May, it is time for Hip Hop.
HSQ (hip hop string quintet) will be improvising beats, over which several special guest rappers will freestyle. If you love hip hop, you can’t miss this!

About HSQ
One, a Hip Hop Producer, another a Hip Hop DJ, and two Hip Hop junkies came together playing classical music at the Kampala Music School, and decided to form a Hip Hop String quartet. However, a fifth element was missing and that is the beat! Completing the group is a very talented Beatboxer and Breakdancer, together they form The Hip Hop String Quintet.
HSQ consists of:

Moses Serubiri (2nd violin)
Maloe Klaassen (viola)
Michael Kijambu (cello)
Moze Beatboxer
Apart from instrumental songs, HSQ performs with rappers, breakdancers and others. HSQ has performed with Silvester a.k.a. Kabombo, Abrams, Q-reas and others.
