Auditions for adults and teenagers 14 years and above are being held for this year’s KADS pantomime – Lil’ Red Riding Hood – on Saturday 8th September at the National Theatre in Kampala. The show has been written by and will be directed by Mary Kenny and produced by Sybille Schmidt.
We are looking for high quality pantomime performers – singers and actors. Rehearsals will be on Sunday afternoons from 3 to 6pm (Ambrosoli School, Bugolobi) and begin on 23rd September with a Read Through.
If you are auditioning for a singing part or the chorus, please be prepared to sing “Mamma Mia” by ABBA.
Show dates are Wednesday 5th December to Saturday 8th December. There will be all day rehearsals on 25th November and 2nd December, and a technical rehearsal on Monday 3rd December (evening) and dress rehearsal on 4th December (evening). You must be available on all of these dates.
Apart from cast members on stage, we are also looking for orchestra members and help with costumes, set design, backdrop painting, sound, lighting, make-up etc.
