Qwela Junction is an end of month series of showcase concert every last Friday. Only 20,000UGX per person.
Qwela will get together with a set of our musician friends in a specialized theme and put together a showcase of their talent, with Qwela as a backing band.
This is to create a unique amazing live music experience for our audience as well as advance our own skill and experience as musicians
This month brings together 5 unique string instruments (and their owners of course) Abraham Sekasi and his adungu, Hakim Kiwanuka and his Kadingidi, and a classical strings trio of Maloe Klaasen (Viola) Daniel Kalule (violin) Michael (Cello). Together they weave a neo-folk and classical tale of African music with a twist of classical and contemporary influence.
