Eria Nsubuga ‘SANE’ is a seasoned player on the Ugandan scene where he has emerged as a powerful force for artistic expression and also as an influence for many of Uganda’s emerging artisits. Since 1999, he has been doing Solo and group shows in Uganda and the world over for all sorts of purposes/causes in Tulifanya Gallery (now AKA Tulifanya)(1999-2012), Alliance Francaise/ Goethe Zentrum/ Uganda German Cultural Society (2004), Afriart Gallery (2011,2012); AIDCHILD Equator, Mpigi(2003-2012), and AKKU Gallery Amsterdam (2009).
SANE’s work has been viewed in venues all over the world, including Prestigious venues such as the Centre Pompidou, Paris (2006),The Domaine and the Orangie of Madame Elisabeth(sister of King Louis XVI) in Versailles ; the World Bank , Washington DC., the Shanghai Art Museum and in Florence, Italy (Florence Biennale 2011).
