Yes That’s my name. Luswata is my father’s name and Mary is my mum’s name.
> Are you related to Luswata the comedian?
No not in any way.
> How did you get into television?
I started working with Vision Voice now Xfm when I was still at University as a kids’ show host. I did a request show on the same station for about a year until New Vision started the English TV station and I was stolen from radio to TV. I did the breakfast show for 2 years and about a year ago scoop started.
> Where do you get the confidence to say the things you say. Don’t you consider yourself rude?
That’s a funny one, I should ask you the same.
> Do you have stalkers? How do you handle them?
For starters , Dave Dash is not a stalker. Stalkers are an occupational hazard and I try not to be rude. Just so you know everyone is afraid of Mary Luswata.

I believe in a higher power, I believe my talent is God given and the opportunities come from his hand to mine.

I hang, chill, relax . I do things you “normal” people do.
> What do you do to relax?
I smoke weed a lil.
> Do you have any favourite books, movies, music?
I prefer series to movies and I don’t read. I prefer a night out with friends.
> I am sure you’ve heard yourself being compared to Joan Rivers. What do you think of the comparison?
I think it’s an honour to be compared to her. Is that how old people think I am?
> What’s the one thing you’re so passionate about it would make you cry?
> What’s your view on the current Miss Uganda?
I think she’s a shift from what Ugandans perceive as beauty.
