DESCRIPTION

Alliance Française in pleased to invite you all to celebrate Music Day with us, in the garden of the National Theater!

This year celebration is promising to be even more amazing that last year, with 6 hours of non-stop live music, from traditional to electro, blues to techno, with food stalls and craft vendors.

More artists will be announced later, but we can already spill the beans about our headliners...

GATO PRETO has become one of the most vibrant and extravagant, Afro-futuristic artists of the recent years.

Fusing music and culture from Mozambique to Germany, Ghana to Senegal, they will have you re-thinking everything you think you know about African music. With stunning high energetic live performances, their stage outfits, the dancers and visuals, their concert is promising to be an impressive liveshow you won't forget so quickly.

SUZAN KERUNEN & FAIZEL MOSTRIXX : Alur Queen Suzan Kerunen and Ugandan resident DJ Faizel Mostrixx's new collaborative EP. Ebikokyo will take you to a whole new cosmic afro journey. With her strong voice, alongside Njige, Agwara and Ndara drums, his dynamic synths and baselines and their combine energy, you will be dancing all night long.

Grounds will open at 6PM for you to enjoy the garden, have a drink or a snack before the beginning of the festivities at 7PM.
