Iganga Youth Day
10 Aug · Sikezy Iganga

Every year on International Youth day, we come together with thousands of youths from all over Uganda to celebrate youths and also give back to the local community through an identified social cause for action. This time we're working with singer Grace Nakimera’s Feed The Streets Foundation, to support a group of 50 teenage mothers under Young Mothers Health Initiative, an organisation that is empowering young mothers through vocational skills such as tailoring and hair dressing.

Young Mother's Health Initiative in its effort to empower these young mothers is faced with a number of challenges such as inadequate resources, limited tailoring machines, materials and working space; something that has slowed down their efficiency.

In order to lend a helping hand, we're fundraising to purchase more tailoring machines for this group to improve their efficiency and to reach out to support more mothers.

We call upon well wishers, friends, humanitarians and everyone with a good heart to join us in this cause to buy as many tailoring machines as possible to the sustainable empowerment teenage young mothers in Eastern Uganda!

The event will also include lots of fun activities like the color party, fun games, music, performances and networking! So don't miss out!

Lets Give. Rave and Color together on 10th August 2019 at Sikezy Hotel in Iganga. #IgangaYouthDay
